For 127 days in a trial in Hong Kong, Jade King produced one of the most accurate [realtime] feeds I have ever seen. The clarity of the transcription did not vary between evidence, argument or set-piece submission.
The quality of the transcription was so good that in relation to one lawyer (whose diction was not always clear) I was able to understand what he was saying from following the transcription rather from listening to him.
In short I was incredibly impressed with Jade’s work and would be delighted to see her on a transcription team again.

As Leading Counsel, it is my pleasure to record the very valuable contribution that Jade has made as the realtime stenographer for the last 5 months typing the simultaneous rolling transcript in the high-profile trial against Mr. Rafael Hui and others in the High Court. Without her highly specialised skill the trial would have been considerably slowed by the constant need for the parties to agree (if possible) exactly what some witness had actually said. Indeed the learned Judge, Mr. Justice Andrew Macrae has, in appreciation of her, publicly made the same comment … Without this highly specialised skill base, the administration of justice (including arbitrations and mediations) would be much slower … there is a real need and constant demand for her very specialised talent.
